Be true to yourself and change your ways

 

 

Changing My Ways

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 

  1. We must recognize that God is Holy 1 John 1:5

    1. Joshua 24:19 (KJV) And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the Lord: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
  2. We must be honest with God's people 1 John 1:6 – 7
    1. 1 John 1:6-7 (KJV) 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  3. We must be honest with ourselves
    1. 1 John 1:8 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
  4. We must be honest with God.
    1. 1 John 1:9-10 (KJV) 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Just to add to this quickly w/o signing in....It's been a nice constant change for me that has been worth the fight!!!! Victory in Jesus! The battle is not mine, but the Lord's!

It is such a great feeling to know a wonderful change has come over us. God really makes the difference in our lives. He deserves all the honor, glory and praise.

The word of God states that there is one body, one Spirit, one hope, on Lord one faith, one baptism and one God and Father of all. Above all, through all and in all. Amen

 

Normal is not of God. A person doesn't know what's wrong until they know what is right. One doesn't know a lie until truth comes. So seek for the truth.
